Trinidad From my bath Tub...

So one of the reasons I love my job is when I'm bored and tired of filming the same thing day after day, here comes a job popping up in the middle of no where...I'm in Trinindad for just two days but its a break from my normal runnings.. I have a 5am crew call so I'm going to continue listening to some Early Bob Marley until Ms. Sleep catches up with me...camera bag packed, batteries charged, cards and wireless good to go...DSLR ready to fire...I'm out..

Pic of the Day - Inside of a Grapefruit

After carefully climbing a Grapefruit tree hungry and spend half a day in the sun filming, a next twenty mins. this is what Greets me..

Dance hall in Jamaica

Dance hall the bread basket for many, entertainment for some but the question is Are we losing out on one of our biggest element in Jamaican culture? Is there vibes still in the dance these days ? We can blame many people or organization for this but is there any one in high places willing to take up the challenge to preserve our vibes in the dance hall. Here are just a few pics of some elements that still remains in the dance....

My Day at work

So I had the privilege of interviewing some of Jamaica's musicians today and I feel blessed,,, First it was I Octane at Buju Banton's Studio, where I also met Mark Myrie Jnr, Buju's son who is doing some work with I Octane. That was an awesome moment. The next stop was Jamaica's most visited music site - the Bob Marley Museum - where we got the chance to film Stephen Ragga Muffin Marley's rehearsal and interview him, all done for ER/TVJ....

I said to myself - how many people get the chance to live the life i live? i am blessed that its not just a job for me anymore. I'm honored.

I have come to the realization that its not money that motivates me, what I do, or where I go. Rather, its the love and passion for my talent, and for that I'm grateful. Enough of my day... keep it locked to my blog and please feel free to leave your comments..

valentines ?

Why do we wait until Feb. 14 ? to make so much effort to buy gifts and show someone we love them. I think the energy use to prove yourself on this day could be shared in equal proportion throughout the year and more relationships would be better...as we seh FIRE PON Mr. Valentines..
